For several days, you do not have to hold anything.
Everything runs through you.
The company. The decisions nobody else can make. The people, and what each of them needs from you this week. The problems that arrive without warning. The opportunities that have to be judged in an afternoon. The future, which exists as a picture only in your head.
You have built something that does not stop. And somewhere along the way, being the person who holds it became indistinguishable from being you.
There is nobody to hand it to. Not because you have not built a team, but because the specific weight you carry is not delegable. It comes with the position.
Several days, designed around one person.
Where you go, where you stay, what happens each day, what is available, what is prepared — all of it is handled before you arrive. You make no arrangements and no decisions about logistics. That is the point, and it is the part most people underestimate.
I am present throughout. Not as a facilitator running a programme, but as someone with the context and the capacity to go where the conversation needs to go, over days rather than an hour.
- Mental space — the kind that only appears after the second day
- Clarity that arrives on its own rather than being extracted
- Presence. Actual presence, not the managed version.
- Aliveness — usually the thing founders miss most and mention last
- Perspective on the company that is impossible to reach from inside it
- Reconnection with the person who started this
- A different relationship with control, which tends to last longest
One founder at a time. No group, no other guests, no exceptions.
Nothing is documented. No photographs, no notes shared, no reference to it afterwards in any form.
If you would like to speak with a previous participant, that can be arranged with their consent. Otherwise their existence is not something I discuss.
Founders and leaders carrying something substantial, who have not genuinely put it down in years, and who are ready to.
It is for people who can afford it without deliberating, and for whom the constraint is permission rather than budget.
It is not for people who want a productive offsite. Nothing here is optimised.

Nothing is decided in that conversation. It exists so we can both find out whether this is right.
